IDEATION
Brief Description:
We decided to do a parody of Twilight for our video project. We will each individually shoot the scenes above and combine them into one film. We picked the very dramatic scenes in the movie because those will be the best to spoof. Our video will start with Bella’s first sight of the Cullens, specifically Edward Cullen. Then it will go into elaborating on Edward’s unusual behavior and attitudes until Bella finally researches that he is a vampire. The film will end with the iconic scene of Bella saying vampire out loud and the Edward tries to convince her that he is dangerous but she doesn’t believe it. Then, Edward scoops Bella onto his back and quickly runs across the forest.

Summary (Individual video)
-When I was shooting my footage for the individual footage I was focused on getting clips of "Bella" because I excluded her from the appropriated footage and only left Edward.I wanted the Bella character to be consistent so I chose one member from my group to play her. When editing all of my footage I wished I would have shot more scenes of "Bella" in the cafeteria. I changed the color of my scenes to have a green/blue tint so they would match the appropriated footage.

-I enjoyed the process of creating the final video with my group. We kept the blue/green tint idea for the final video because it matched the appropriated footage. I didn't have a lot of dialogue for my cafeteria scene so it was nice to see that someone from my group did. We all decided to keep the Bella character consistent throughout the film. Some us had close up shots of Ashleigh("Bella") and others had medium shots. Something that made the process simple was the fact that we all incorporated humor into our individual videos. Our final video has a humorous, mocking, and realistic tone.
