Cyber Space Place

prompt:Gaining inspiration for somewhat-silly representations of "the web" in the 1990s, create a 3D space representing a website, application, or digital space. Essentially, imagine what one of these places would look like if it were a 3D space as opposed to a traditional 2D UI.

For this lab, the website that I was inspired by was Pinterest, I thought it would be interesting to have some pictures floating with a clean background and some pins. It's very simple but it resembles the Pinterest interface. I found some Creative Commons license images on google and started adding them to blender. However, I realized that they weren't rendering so then I figured out I needed to add them as "Images as planes". At first I was using a particle emitter to drop the pins, but it didn't look right in the verge3d preview. I decided to duplicate and scatter the pins.

I watched the Verge3D lecture tutorial video which was very helpful, I've never used verge3D before so I was confused on how to use it but the video helped me figure it out and I was able to get the embed link. My cyber space is very simple, I mostly wanted to test out Verge3D but I did experiment with using pictures in blender.
